Today is Memorial Day -- how will you spend it? Before you fire up the grill, we encourage you to spend some time reflecting on the true meaning of Memorial Day. Remember and honor those who died in service to our great country and pray for those who grieve for them, specifically for God's peace and comfort today.
Pray also for the veterans who are grieving their friends and military family today -- especially those already battling depression. This can be a really difficult, heart-breaking day for many of them. Pray that their grief would not consume them.

Question: Do you have a life verse? What about a life song? Music can be a powerful tool to help us remember the truths found in God's Word.
In Deuteronomy 32, Moses gave the Israelites a song to remind them of God's work in their lives -- His deliverance of them, His love for them, how He protected them, etc. The song also challenged them for their sinful choices and their rebellion against God. The song would serve not only as a reminder, but also as a witness against them. They couldn't claim ignorance any longer!
In today's episode, Mark talks about the importance of having a life song and gives one of his favorites as an example.

While it IS true that God enjoys giving good gifts to His children, we still live in a fallen, sinful world so sometimes we have to FIGHT to keep those good gifts.
In today's episode, Mark talks about how the nation of Israel had to FIGHT for the good gifts that God gave and what we can learn from their experience. What good gift do YOU need to fight for?
Did you know that the Bible tells us that it was God's will to "crush" Jesus? That may surprise you -- in today's episode, Mark explains this and connects it to our own seasons of pain and suffering.
